About Us

The Brazilian Depot started much like the name implies, as a combination of Brazil and the United States. Initially we discovered the beautiful intricacies of the Brazilian handcrafts and the care and pride that the people take in their products.

Finding such beautiful items we have never seen on the market before. Upon revisiting the American market we could not find any evidence of this kind of skill or craft in the marketplace.

Much of the brazilian lace and crafts we found, used to be produced readily everywhere but the skills and the interest in learning the skill, has been overtaken by the mass produced industrialized world and these skills are being lost.

Our business has evolved from simple handcrafts to more modern style of women's clothing, and accessories, to handling linens and some other various crafts and products made in Brazil.
